In this oil painting, I've merged the vibrancy of fauvism with expressionism's energy and realism's detail to encapsulate the untamed spirit of nature. Each stroke conveys passion, the interplay of colours reflects life's exuberance, and the flowers’ graceful dance under a tranquil sky exudes serenity. This piece is a tribute to nature's simple, raw beauty, bringing a burst of floral vitality and emotional warmth into any space.

Atmospheric painting of the iconic Great Sugarloaf Mountain and the beautiful Wicklow countryside. In this artwork, I've poured my admiration for the Irish landscape's serene beauty, capturing a dance of colours that echoes the untamed spirit of nature. Each brushstroke embodies the lively essence of fauvism, with an impressionistic touch that welcomes the viewer to a moment of tranquility. This piece is a celebration of nature's poetry.
In this painting inspired by the Canal du Midi, I sought to capture the essence of movement, the interplay of light and shadows over water. My brushstrokes blend the abstract and impressionistic, providing just a suggestion of form, inviting viewers to feel the tranquil dynamism of reflections. The cool tones embody serenity, while the sweeping gestures bring a vibrant energy to any space. This piece is about peace, fluidity, and the mesmerizing beauty of the natural world.

Theory that everything matters. That even the flutter of a butterfly's wings can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world. If you change even the smallest of life's details, you completely change its outcome... My painting 'Mountain Sunset' is featured at Artsper...
'Naturalism is a philosophical theory that relates scientific method to philosophy by affirming that all beings and events in the universe (whatever their inherent character may be) are natural. Consequently, all knowledge of the universe falls within the pale of scientific investigation. The theory also encapsulates conjectures about the supernatural. Inspired by Naturalism, a regularity, unity, and wholeness can be seen in artwork since the beginning of time. This search for answers has certainly transcended into the field of art. Man's endless search for concrete proofs of his beliefs is seen as a confirmation of naturalistic methodology... Naturalism is often associated with plein air practice...' ARTSPER Two of my Paris drawings, of Montmartre and La Maison Rose, are featured in a curated collection at Artsper... 'A contour line in all its simplicity is the marking used by artists to define the shape of their subject without using shading. Essentially, they outline the subject, with emphasis on the mass and volume rather than on the details. A fundamental element of any drawing or painting, contour lines are often the first technique adopted when experimenting with art.
As a contour can convey a three-dimensional perspective, length and width as well as thickness and depth are important, and not all contours exist along the outlines of a subject. By altering the type of contour, an artist can convey details aspects of its subjects relating to their shape and form. For example, a lighter line with less gradation suggests a greater distance between the subjects, whereas a darker portion of the contour may depict a subject with little or no light source, thus conveying whether the subject is lower or perhaps compressed. Furthermore, artists use contour lines to add accents or cast shadows.' ARTSPER In this painting I was inspired by the colours of the coast. This large painting on canvas captures the subtle hues of the sea and beach, with the distant mountains and sand dunes in the background, and clouds above. This artwork is ready to hang...
In this painting I capture the vibrant colours of a sunset at Place de la Marine in Agde, South of France. The dark silhouette of the winter trees contrasts with the colourful sky and water creating a beautiful and dramatic scene. Houses and boats can be seen on the other side of the river. This artwork is ready to hang.
This is a painting I enjoyed doing of the reflections at a lake in Glendalough in County Wicklow, Ireland. Glendalough is a popular location, people visit to experience the natural beauty of the place and as pilgrims, responding to the sacred energy of the landscape...
